Saints Peter and Paul - Thought for the Week, June 25
June 25, 2019, 8:09 AM

Although each saint has his own feast day, we remember Saints Peter and Paul together on June 29 every year. It is hard to imagine two more diverse people, especially in terms of their life circumstances. Peter was an uneducated fisherman and Paul was an educated religious leader. Peter felt his vocation was to spread Christianity among Jewish people and Paul followed his call to spread Christianity among Gentiles. Despite the great differences between the two men, they joined together in their efforts to share the Gospel. Who is God calling us to work with to spread the great Good News of Jesus?
