Thank you for visiting our website!

Welcome to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Bound Brook, we are a diverse and loving group of Episcopalians from around the corner, and around the world. Some of us come from as faraway as Nigeria, India, Jamaica and even a few come from Brooklyn. But most of us are from Middlesex, Somerset and Hunterdon counties.

We are a congregation committed to reaching out to others in this bruised and battered world in the spirit of Jesus Christ. As Christ touched others and allowed others to touch him so we are called forth beyond our church doors. We reach out not as a duty but in the spirit of joy and thankfulness for all that we have been given. We have been greatly blessed and strive to be a blessing to others.

At the parish level, we have a weekly program of feeding others called Lunch On Us that has been part of our congregational life for over twenty five years. Our worship on Sundays is at 8AM in the Rite I traditional style from the Book of Common Prayer. The 10AM service is in the Rite II style. We are a welcoming and inclusive community. Come visit and See!

Thought for the Week – May 14, 2019

In this Sunday’s reading from the Revelation to John, a voice from heaven promises that God will make all things new. The book of Revelation often overwhelms people with its unfamiliar symbolic imagery, but it also contains great words of comfort for the faithful of this world, including God’s assurance that “mourning and crying and pain will be no more.”  If our lives are marked by pain today, let us trust and believe in God’s promise that the day is soon coming when “death will be no more.” (Revelation 21:1-6)

There are discussions underway for a joint Vacation Bible School with Saint John’s Episcopal Church, Somerville, and Saint Martin’s Episcopal Church, Martinsville.  Come to Rennell Hall this Saturday, May 18, at 10 AM for a planning session.

Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church’s first inter-generational event is scheduled for Saturday, June 8, 9:30-11:30 AM in Rennell Hall. This exciting event is open to all ages and we will learn together about Pentecost: the Birthday of the Church.

A midweek celebration of the Eucharist continues at 12 Noon on Wednesdays in the side (Lady) chapel. All are welcome!

Coffee Hour is an important opportunity for fellowship, providing time together for conversation and catching up. Donations of time and food are welcome.
