on Tuesday, November 3.

Dear Siblings in Christ,

Grace and peace to you! In this time of loss, we gained new ways to become the church beyond the church walls. We rely on Jesus Christ as the love that binds us, even as we remain physically distanced.

In-person worship has resumed at 9 AM on Sunday.  Saint Paul's reopening plan was crafted by a dedicated group of parishioners and approved by Bishop Stokes.  Although we are surrounded by familiar faces, much is different.

Here are some important changes to note:

  • There is one in-person service at 9 AM, alternating weekly between Rite One and Rite Two.
  • Masks are required for all people at all times, including during the Sunday service.
  • Socially distanced seating is marked in alternating pews.
  • Please follow the ushers' directions at all times, especially for entering, seating, receiving communion, and exiting.
  • Hand sanitizing requirements and safer bathroom procedures are posted.
  • The Holy Eucharist will be celebrated and the consecrated host will be distributed to those who choose to receive.

Virtual/phone gatherings will continue:

  • Sundays at 10:30 AM - worship, alternating weekly between Rite One (spoken) and Rite Two (with music).  Please note the time change.
  • Tuesdays at 6:30 PM - Decaf Coffee Hour
  • Wednesdays at 12 Noon - Midday Prayer
  • Wednesdays at 1 PM - Bible Study at http://lectionarypage.net/YearA_RCL/Pentecost/AProp27_RCL.html for the Track One readings
  • Thursdays at 9 AM - Open Office Hour
  • Fridays at 10 AM - Coffee Hour

The connection instructions for all virtual/phone gatherings are listed below.

In this season of change, gratitude remains constant for your commitment to doing God's work in the world. Please be faithful and generous in your financial support by placing your offering in the plate, mailing your contributions to the church, or using the online platform on our website.

I remain available to you by cell phone (732-956-8115) or email (priest@stpaulsbb.org) to receive your questions, comments, or concerns.

Trusting in God's Goodness,

Rev. Foley

Thank you for visiting our website!

Welcome to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Bound Brook, we are a diverse and loving group of Episcopalians from around the corner, and around the world. Some of us come from as far away as Nigeria, India, Jamaica and even a few come from Brooklyn. But most of us are from Middlesex, Somerset and Hunterdon counties.

We are a congregation committed to reaching out to others in this bruised and battered world in the spirit of Jesus Christ. As Christ touched others and allowed others to touch him, so we are called forth beyond our church doors. We reach out not as a duty but in the spirit of joy and thankfulness for all that we have been given. We have been greatly blessed and strive to be a blessing to others.

At the parish level, we have a weekly program of feeding others called Lunch On Us that has been part of our congregational life since 1981.  We are a welcoming and inclusive community. Come visit and see!
